The 6ES7132-4HB00-0AB0: This is a SIMATIC DP ET 200S electronic module carrying 2 relay digital outputs. Each output is rated for 5 A thermal continuous current, switching resistive loads at up to 2 Hz, inductive loads at 0.5 Hz, and lamp loads at 2 Hz. The coil and contacts share a 24 V DC supply drawn from the ET 200S power module — no separate load power required. Reverse polarity protection is built in. The module occupies a 15 mm slot in the ET 200S terminal block assembly. Dimensions: 15 mm width, 52 mm depth, 81 mm height. Status indication via a green LED per channel and an SF LED for group fault. Response to a CPU or master STOP is configurable to substitute a value or keep the last value (0/1). Isolation is provided between channels and backplane bus, and between channels and load voltage L+. Maximum shielded cable length is 1 000 m; unshielded, 600 m.
Installation & wiring highlights
Mounts on any ET 200S terminal module (BU type A0, A1, etc.). The 15 mm width allows dense packing on the DIN rail. No auxiliary power wiring needed beyond the backplane connector. For relay loads, note the minimum load current for signal "1" is 8 mA. When driving inductive loads, the module does not provide an internal limitation of inductive shutdown voltage — external free-wheeling diode or RC snubber is recommended per Siemens practice. Diagnostic function is not available on this module; fault detection relies on the group fault LED.
