Panel fit and backplane integration
The 6ES7134-4NB01-0AB0 is a 15 mm wide ET200S electronic module that snaps onto the DIN rail and draws its 24 VDC operating power from the power module via the backplane bus — no separate field supply wiring needed for the module itself. At 52 mm depth and 81 mm height, it occupies the same envelope as other ET200S analog modules, so a populated rail with mixed digital and analog slices keeps a uniform front face for cable duct routing.
Thermocouple input range and filtering
Two differential thermocouple inputs accept types B, C, E, J, K, L, N, R, S, and T per IEC 584, with an input resistance of 1 MΩ across all supported types — high enough to avoid loading the thermocouple signal even on long shielded runs up to 50 m. The integrating measurement principle uses a 16.7 or 20 ms integration time (selectable), and the digital filter can be set in four stages — none (1× cycle time), low (4×), medium (32×), or high (64×) — to trade noise rejection against response speed. Wire-break detection is available for thermocouple inputs only, and can be enabled or disabled per channel; a group error LED (SF red) signals any fault condition, with group diagnostics also configurable on/off.
Typical power dissipation is 0.6 W, and the module is isolation-tested at 500 V DC between channels and the backplane.
