The Siemens 6ES7141-5AH00-0BL0 is an IO-Link master block for distributed I/O, rated for direct machine mounting IP65/67. On the input side, signal thresholds are -30 to +5 V for logic 0, +11 to +30 V for logic 1. Typical input current at signal 1 is 3 mA. The 16 inputs share a 0.7 A total current limit drawn from the IO-Link master supply. Short-circuit protection is per module, electronic. Sensor supply to M is also short-circuit protected module by module. Reverse polarity on the encoder power outputs won't destroy the module. Diagnostic alarm is parameterizable.
