Temperature range –30 to 55 °C matches most production environments; no additional cooling needed at the upper end unless you're overloading the total output current. Each output switches signals at 38.4 kBd (COM2) over unshielded cable up to 30 m, with a total cycle time of 2.4 ms. Good for sensor-level on/off, but not for high-speed pulse trains. Critical note: there is no electrical isolation between channels. Plan your encoder ground paths accordingly – a single ground fault on one output can pull down adjacent channels unless you use separate supplies from the master.
