Siemens 6ES7144-6JF00-0BB0 is a PROFINET IO module for direct connection of resistance thermometers (Pt100, Pt1000, Ni100 etc.) and thermocouples (types B, C, E, J, K, L, N, R, S, T, U). Two M12, 4-pin, D-coded ports bring sensor wiring directly into the module, eliminating separate junction boxes. IRT is supported with a cycle time from 250 µs to 4 ms in 125 µs frames, placing it on high-speed deterministic networks alongside ARP, MRP, MSI, and LLDP.
Integration & mounting
The module mounts on a standard DIN rail. Dimensions are 45 mm wide, 200 mm high, and 48 mm deep. Status diagnostics via RUN/ERROR/IO/MS/NS LEDs (red, green, yellow).
Sensor compatibility
Supports Pt100, Pt200, Pt500, Pt1000, Ni100, Ni120, Ni200, Ni500, Ni1000 in standard and climate ranges, plus Pt1000 and Ni1000. All RTD inputs are 16-bit including sign. Thirteen thermocouple types are covered, all at 16-bit resolution with sign. This module covers the full temperature sensing spectrum for furnace, HVAC, and process applications.
The module occupies 16 input bytes plus 1 byte for QI information per the PROFINET IO data model. This is a fixed I/O footprint typical for temperature slices — plan your IO mapping accordingly. No expansion bus is needed beyond the two M12 ports; each port handles a single sensor.
