Four configurable analog outputs for distributed I/O
The Siemens 6ES7145-5ND00-0BA0 is an ET 200AL analog output module with four channels, each configurable individually for voltage or current output. It handles the common industrial signal ranges: 0 to 10 V, ±10 V, 0 to 20 mA, 4 to 20 mA, and ±20 mA, with resolutions from 14 to 16 bits depending on the range selected. Rated for a 24 VDC supply with a typical power loss of 2.6 W, the module draws a total output current of 1 A up to 45 °C, derated to 0.5 A at the 55 °C maximum ambient.
SIL 2 and IP65/67 for machine-mounted safety loops
This module carries a SIL 2 rating per IEC 62061, meaning it can be used in safety-related analog control loops up to that integrity level. Operating temperature spans -30 °C to 55 °C, covering most outdoor and unheated indoor installations across the Gulf Coast and northern plants alike.
Diagnostics and protection per channel
Each output channel has its own diagnostic alarm, short-circuit protection (electronic, per module), and wire-break detection for current outputs. The module reports channel status via green LEDs and module diagnostics via a green/red LED. Load limits are specified: 500 Ω maximum for current outputs, 1 kΩ minimum for voltage outputs. The module also includes reverse-polarity protection on the actuator supply outputs.
Current production, sourced per RFQ
Firmware version is V1.0.x, and the hardware functional status starts from FS04. The module supports I&M data (I&M0 to I&M3) for asset tracking and commissioning records.
