The Siemens 6ES7194-2LN15-1AB0 is a 15-meter power cable purpose-built for 24 V DC supply to ET 200AL distributed I/O modules. Both ends carry a 4-pin M8 connector – male at one end, female at the other – both with a 90-degree outlet, so the cable routes flat against the module face without taking up extra clearance. The PVC jacket is rated IP65/67, which means it can be run through washdown zones or dusty panel interiors as long as the mating connectors are similarly sealed. The core insulation is polypropylene (PP), and the assembly is marked silicone-free – a detail that matters if the cable passes through a painting or bonding process where silicone outgassing could cause adhesion failure.
What the ratings mean for fit
The continuous operating range spans -40 °C to 80 °C, so it can live in a refrigerated warehouse at one extreme or near a hot steam line at the other, provided the cable itself isn't subject to radiant heat above 80 °C. The bend-radius constraints are straightforward: for a single static installation, the minimum bend radius is 26 mm; for continuous flexing in a cable carrier, it’s 52 mm. The rated 2.5 million bending cycles at 52 mm radius, 3 m/s speed, and 10 m/s² acceleration give a solid life expectation for pick-and-place or gantry applications – provided the carrier layout doesn't violate that radius or the acceleration limit.
Integration note
Because the connectors are pre-molded, there’s no field-wiring time – you measure the route, verify the 15 m length is sufficient, and plug. The angled outlet on both ends keeps the cable close to the mounting surface, which helps in a crowded DIN-rail cabinet. The gray PVC sheath is 5.2 mm outer diameter, so it fits through standard PG9 or M12 cable glands if you need to pass it through a panel wall. No stripping, no crimping, no chance of a pinout mistake – it’s a factory-assembled solution.
