What it is and what it does
The 6ES7194-2MH20-1AB0 is a factory-assembled 4-pin M8 power cable for Siemens ET 200AL remote I/O. Both ends terminate with an angled male connector and an angled female socket—no field wiring needed. It carries 24 V DC to the I/O modules and holds IP65/67 at the connector end, so it can live right on the machine frame. Rated for continuous flexing: 2 million bending cycles at a radius of 51 mm, 5 m/s travel, 5 m/s² acceleration. That puts it in cable-carrier territory—not just a static T-connector drop. The outer sheath is PE-PUR, cores are PP, and the cable is both halogen-free and silicone-free, which matters if there's any fire-risk or potting compound nearby.
Where you'll use it
This cable powers ET 200AL modules away from the main panel. The 90° outlet at both ends minimizes clearance. Outer diameter is 5.1 mm with a continuous bend radius of 51 mm. Temperature range covers -25 to 80 °C during assembly and operation. That spans most indoor industrial environments including chillers and motor cabinets. Single bend radius goes down to 26 mm for final installation routing, so you can form it around a module edge without kinking.
