The 150% overload for 3 seconds gives headroom for breakaway torque on high-inertia starts or momentary load spikes — enough to clear a jam without tripping, but not a continuous duty cycle.
Fieldbus and I/O for controls integration
The I/O complement of 6 digital inputs, 2 digital outputs, 1 analog input, and 1 analog output supports standalone speed control or distributed I/O for auxiliary functions like brake control or fault reset. Safe Torque Off (STO) is built in, meeting SIL 3 / PL e for safety circuits without an external safety relay on the motor branch. The STO function removes torque-producing power to the motor, so the drive cannot restart unintentionally during a safety demand.
Cabinet mounting and supply requirements
Frame size FSF measures 708 x 305 x 357 mm (H x W x D), which dictates the backpanel real estate and the gland plate layout for incoming power and motor cables. The drive requires an external 24 V control supply — the onboard power supply does not generate the 24 V bus. Unfiltered topology — plan for external EMC filtering
