The 6SL3210-1PE31-1UL0: The PM240-2 power module delivers 45 kW in high-overload duty, sustaining 200 % for 3 seconds and 150 % for 57 seconds within a 240-second cycle, with ambient up to 50 °C. For low-overload applications, it supports 55 kW continuous with 150 % for 3 seconds and 110 % for 57 seconds, but ambient is capped at 40 °C. This dual-rating structure lets you match the drive to the actual load profile — a conveyor or pump running steady-state at 55 kW but needing brief torque for acceleration uses the LO rating; a crusher or extruder that cycles hard peaks fits the HO rating. The 50 °C HO ambient ceiling means no derating in a warm panel as long as the load stays within the HO envelope.
Line voltage and built-in braking — 380–480 V, integrated chopper
The built-in braking chopper eliminates an external brake unit for deceleration loads — just add a resistor sized for the duty cycle. The blocksize format (551 x 275 x 237 mm, HxWxD) with IP20 protection is designed for enclosure mounting — plan for top and bottom cable entry clearance and airflow around the heatsink fins. No control unit or panel is included; the module accepts a CU from the G120 family with firmware V4.7 HF8 or later.
