Built-in braking chopper saves panel space
The integrated braking chopper eliminates an external resistor module for applications with moderate deceleration duty — think conveyors stopping under load or centrifuges. For high-inertia loads with frequent fast stops, size an external braking resistor per the duty cycle; the chopper threshold is set at the DC bus voltage.
