Power module for the SINAMICS G120 — PM240P-2 unfiltered
The 6SL3210-1RE28-8UL0 is a SINAMICS G120 PM240P-2 power module, unfiltered, rated for 3-phase 380-480 V AC input at 47-63 Hz. In high-overload (HO) duty it delivers 37 kW with 150 % overload for 60 seconds and 100 % continuous for 240 seconds, at an ambient range of -20 to +50 °C. For low-overload (LO) applications it supports 45 kW with 135 % for 3 seconds and 110 % for 57 seconds, at -20 to +40 °C ambient. This is a Class C product — manufactured to order, not a stocked shelf item. The form factor is 551 x 275 x 237 mm (H x W x D) with IP20 protection and FSE (full-safe enclosure) protection. It ships without a Control Unit or operator panel; the CU firmware version required is V4.7 SP6 HF1 or later.
NRND — what it means for your BOM line
Siemens lists this power module as NRND (Not Recommended for New Designs). That means it is still available for existing installations and MRO spares, but the manufacturer advises against specifying it for new projects. For a line-down replacement or a legacy BOM position, the NRND status is manageable — the part is still manufacturable to order.
