315 kW HVAC duty — overload profile and fieldbus
Rated power is 315 kW at 380-480 V, with overload capability of 135 % for 3 seconds, 110 % for 60 seconds, and 100 % for 240 seconds — a profile matched to centrifugal pump and fan loads where peak torque occurs during acceleration, not steady state. Integrated fieldbus includes MODBUS RTU and BACnet MS/TP — no separate communication module required for building automation or SCADA integration. The drive ships without an operator panel or IO expansion; those are added as separate order codes if needed. The RFI suppression filter is built in for category C3 (industrial environment, second environment per EN 61800-3). For residential or first-environment installations, an external filter may be required.
Panel integration — IP20, size FSH, ambient limits
IP20 / UL open type means the drive is intended for installation inside an enclosure — not standalone in washdown or outdoor areas. The FSH frame size determines gland-plate layout and bus-bar routing; confirm the mounting footprint against the panel backplate before cutting. Ambient temperature range is 0 to +45 °C. Above 45 °C, derate the output current per the SINAMICS G120X manual — the 315 kW rating assumes full airflow and no derating at 45 °C.
