The 6SL3220-1YE62-0CF0: Rated 450 kW for 135 % overload for 3 s or 110 % overload for 60 s, 100 % for 240 s — the overload profile matches the variable-torque duty cycle of centrifugal pumps and axial fans, where starting current peaks are brief and running load is steady. The supply input accepts 3AC 380-480 V +10/-20 % at 47-63 Hz, covering the full global low-voltage mains range without a step-down transformer. Built-in EMC filter for category C3 means the drive meets conducted emission limits for industrial second-environment installations (not residential). The IP20 / UL open type enclosure requires mounting inside a panel or cabinet with a minimum protection rating that keeps dust and tools out.
Fieldbus integration and commissioning — PROFINET and Ethernet/IP on board
The drive auto-negotiates the bus cycle time on insertion; the G120X supports both RT and IRT for PROFINET, and implicit messaging for Ethernet/IP. No operator panel or IO expansion is included — the drive is configured and controlled entirely over the network or via the SINAMICS Startdrive / STARTER engineering tool.
