315 kW at 135% overload — the motor sizing ceiling
The 6SL3220-1YH56-1CF0 is a SINAMICS G120X infrastructure converter rated 315 kW with a 135% overload for 3 seconds, 110% for 60 seconds, and 100% for 240 seconds — the short-duration peak covers fan startup and pump breakaway torque without oversizing the drive. Input voltage range is 3AC 500-690 V +10/-20% at 47-63 Hz, covering 400 V, 480 V, 575 V, and 690 V grids with the same unit. The RFI suppression filter is built-in for category C3, so it meets conducted emission limits for industrial mains without an external filter. The IP20 / UL open type enclosure means it must be mounted inside a cabinet; the FSH frame size dictates the backpanel footprint and the busbar/ cable entry layout.
PROFINET PN + EtherNet/IP — dual-protocol fieldbus
Fieldbus is integrated as PROFINET PN and EtherNet/IP — the drive speaks both natively, so it drops into a PNO plant or an ODVA plant without a gateway module. No operator panel is included; commissioning is done via the web server, the SINAMICS Startdrive TIA Portal add-on, or the G120X Smart Access Module (ordered separately). The IO expansion slot is present but unpopulated — add a digital/analog I/O module or a second fieldbus interface if the application needs hardwired signals beyond the base unit.

RoHS compliance dates from March 2020. REACH Article 33 duty-to-inform applies due to lead CAS 7439-92-1 above 0.1% w/w — this is standard for electronic assemblies with solder joints; the declaration is available with the shipment documentation.
