The 6SL3220-1YH64-1CP0 is a SINAMICS G120X infrastructure converter rated for 500 kW with a 135% overload for 3 seconds, 110% for 60 seconds, and 100% for 240 seconds — this overload profile matches the typical pump and fan starting torque and short-duration demand in HVAC, water, and wastewater applications. It operates on a 3-phase supply of 500 to 690 V AC (+10%/-20%) at 47 to 63 Hz, with an ambient temperature range of 0 to +45 °C. The IP20 / UL open type enclosure is suited for installation inside a clean, dry electrical panel or equipment room.
PROFIBUS DP and I/O expansion
Fieldbus integration is via PROFIBUS DP, with an IO expansion slot available for additional I/O modules. There is no operator panel on this variant — parameterization and control are handled through the fieldbus or a connected commissioning tool. The drive includes a built-in RFI suppression filter for category C3, which covers most industrial environments in the EU. For installations requiring lower conducted emissions, an external filter may be needed.
