The 6SL3220-1YH68-0CP0 is a SINAMICS G120X infrastructure converter rated 630 kW with an overload capability of 135 % for 3 seconds, 110 % for 60 seconds, and 100 % for 240 seconds — a profile matched to pump and fan starting duty where peak torque demand is brief and sustained overload is not required. It accepts a 3-phase supply of 500–690 V AC +10 / –20 % at 47–63 Hz, covering the 690 V class common in European water and wastewater installations as well as 575 V North American nominal systems within the same unit.
Fieldbus integration and cabinet fit
Integrated PROFIBUS DP fieldbus allows direct connection to Siemens S7-300/400 and other DP masters without an external communication module — relevant for retrofit into existing PROFIBUS-based plants or new greenfield installations where the control architecture is already specified. The IP20 / UL open type enclosure is intended for cabinet mounting; the FSJ frame size measures 1,200 x 1,857 x 800 mm (packaged dimensions), so panel layout must account for the footprint and the required top/bottom cable entry clearance.
