The 6SL3220-2YE64-0CB0: Rated 500 kW continuous with a 135% overload for 3 seconds and 110% for 60 seconds — this is the overload envelope that decides whether the drive starts a centrifugal load without oversizing to the next frame. The 100% continuous rating for 240 seconds covers the acceleration ramp on high-inertia fans and pumps. Part of the SINAMICS G120X family, purpose-built for HVAC, water, and wastewater infrastructure rather than general-purpose industrial duty. The integrated RFI suppression filter for category C3 at 380-480 V means it meets conducted emission limits for first-environment (commercial/light industrial) installations without an external filter.
Fieldbus integration without a comm module
MODBUS RTU, BACnet MS/TP, and USS are all on the standard board — no separate communication module to order, stock, or configure. For a building automation or water-treatment plant using BACnet, this saves a slot and a line item on the BOM. The Basic Operator Panel is included for local parameter access and commissioning. No IO expansion module is fitted as standard; the base unit handles the fieldbus interface directly.
