The 6SL3220-2YH60-0CB0: Rated power is 400 kW with a 135% overload capability for 3 seconds and 110% for 60 seconds (100% for 240 seconds). That 135% ceiling handles the breakaway torque of a centrifugal pump or fan on a cold start without tripping the drive on overcurrent. The drive accepts 3-phase 500-690 V AC +10/-20% at 47-63 Hz, covering the common 575 V and 690 V industrial supply rails in North America and Europe. The RFI suppression filter is rated for category C3, meaning it meets conducted emission limits for industrial/secondary networks — not for residential or public low-voltage grids.
Built-in BACnet and MODBUS — no gateway needed
Integrated fieldbus includes MODBUS RTU and BACnet MS/TP, the two dominant protocols in building automation and water/wastewater SCADA. No separate communication module or gateway is required — the drive appears directly on the BACnet MS/TP trunk as a BACnet device, exposing its point map for speed command, status, and fault registers. The Basic Operator Panel (BOP) is included in the unit. Local parameter access, start/stop, and speed reference are available without a PC or external HMI — useful during commissioning before the network is live.
Size FSH, IP20 — panel integration constraints
Packaged in Size FSH with IP20 / UL open type protection. This is a panel-mount-only drive — the IP20 rating means it is protected against solid objects over 12 mm (fingers) but not against water ingress. The enclosure must provide the environmental seal; the drive itself requires top clearance for 690 V class power wiring and adequate airflow for the 400 kW dissipation.
