400 kW drive for HVAC and water infrastructure
The 6SL3220-2YH60-1CF0 is a SINAMICS G120X infrastructure converter rated 400 kW with an overload profile of 135% for 3 seconds or 110% for 60 seconds, 100% for 240 seconds — sized for pump and fan loads where short-duration torque spikes occur during startup or blockage clearing. Input voltage range is 3AC 500-690 V +10/-20% at 47-63 Hz, covering both 575 V North American and 690 V European industrial mains without a step-down transformer.
What ships in the carton — kit completeness check
The drive ships as one piece in packaging dimensions 800 x 1,870 x 600 mm, size FSH enclosure, IP20 / UL open type. It includes a Basic Operator Panel (BOP) and an IO expansion module as standard — no separate ordering for the operator interface or additional I/O. Fieldbus is integrated: PROFINET PN and Ethernet IP are on-board, so no optional communication module is needed for plant network connection.
Export control classification is AL:N / ECCN:EAR99H, meaning no special licensing is required for most commercial destinations.
Compliance and substance restrictions
RoHS compliant since 11 March 2020. REACH Article 33 disclosure: the product contains lead (CAS-No. 7439-92-1) above 0.1% w/w in certain components — this is standard for power electronics with soldered joints and does not affect normal installation or operation. The built-in RFI suppression filter is category C3, suitable for industrial second-environment (not residential) installations per EMC standards.
