On-board PROFINET and EtherNet/IP means the drive drops into a Siemens PLC rack conversation and a Rockwell/Logix PAC conversation without a gateway card — one Ethernet cable handles cyclic process data, parameterisation, and diagnostics on either protocol. A single relay output (30 VDC, 5 A) handles the brake-release or fault-annunciation contact; discrete I/O is intentionally minimal because the heavy lifting is over the fieldbus, not the terminal block.

Operating range spans -20 °C to +45 °C; below 0 °C the cabinet heater brings the interior up before the drive is enabled, and above 40 °C the panel ventilation or filter-fan schedule is what keeps the drive inside its derating envelope.
