The 6SL3220-3YE58-1CP0 is a SINAMICS G120X infrastructure converter rated 355 kW from a 3AC 380-480 V supply, purpose-built for HVAC, water, and wastewater applications. It delivers 135 % overload for 3 seconds, 110 % for 60 seconds, and 100 % for 240 seconds — the duty cycle matches pump and fan load profiles where peak torque is brief and infrequent. The drive ships with an intelligent operator panel and IO expansion onboard, plus integrated PROFIBUS DP fieldbus. The IP20 / UL open type enclosure means it mounts inside a panel or cabinet — not in a wet environment without additional enclosure protection.
Overload capability and supply range
Rated power is 355 kW at the stated overload profile: 135 % for 3 seconds handles start-up inertia on large fans; 110 % for 60 seconds covers the ramp-up on a centrifugal pump; the 100 % continuous rating for 240 seconds is the steady-state ceiling. The RFI suppression filter is built in for category C3 environments — this is the conducted emission limit for industrial second-environment installations, not residential. Ambient temperature rating is 0 to +45 °C; above that, derate per the SINAMICS G120X manual.
