The Siemens 6SL3220-3YH56-1CP0 is a SINAMICS G120X infrastructure converter rated for 315 kW output, designed specifically for HVAC, water, and wastewater applications. It delivers 135 % overload for 3 seconds and 110 % for 60 seconds, with 100 % continuous duty for 240 seconds — these overload profiles match the starting and short-duration peak demands of fans, pumps, and compressors. The drive accepts 3-phase 500–690 V AC input at 47–63 Hz, covering the common 575 V and 690 V industrial mains in North America and Europe.
Built-in IOP, IO, and PROFIBUS DP
This FSH frame size unit ships with the Intelligent Operator Panel (IOP) for local parameterization and diagnostics, plus an IO expansion module for additional digital and analog I/O without adding a separate terminal board. PROFIBUS DP is integrated on the control board — no separate communication module needed, which saves a slot and simplifies the BOM for plants already on a PROFIBUS backbone. The IP20 / UL open-type enclosure suits cabinet mounting in a clean indoor environment; the FSH frame requires adequate top and bottom clearance for the cooling airflow path.
