The 6SL3220-3YH62-1CB0 is a SINAMICS G120X infrastructure converter rated 450 kW at 500–690 V, 3-phase, 47–63 Hz. The duty cycle is 135% for 3 s, 110% for 60 s, and 100% for 240 s — that 135% peak handles the locked-rotor inrush on a large centrifugal pump without tripping the drive, while the 110% sustained overload covers the breakaway torque on a belt-driven fan. Size FSH frame with IP20 / UL open type protection. The RFI suppression filter is category C3, which means it's suitable for industrial second-environment installations (not residential) — the drive will pass the conducted emissions limits for a commercial building's HVAC plant room as long as the supply transformer is dedicated.
Fieldbus and IO — MODBUS RTU and BACnet MS/TP on board
The drive ships with an Intelligent Operator Panel (IOP) and IO expansion, plus integrated MODBUS RTU, BACnet MS/TP, and USS fieldbus. For a wastewater plant that already runs BACnet on the SCADA layer, this drive talks directly to the BMS without a gateway — the BACnet MS/TP maps the drive's speed, current, and fault registers into standard BACnet objects. The IO expansion adds the extra digital and analog I/O points needed for local pump control (dry-run contact, seal-feedback, flow-switch) without a separate remote IO rack. The IOP gives the commissioning engineer a local display for parameter setup and fault diagnosis without a laptop.
