The 6SL3220-3YH64-0CP0: This SINAMICS G120X converter is built for infrastructure duty — HVAC, water, and wastewater — where the drive sits in a control room that sees 45 °C ambient and the motor load cycles between 100% and 135% for seconds at a time. The 500 kW rating at 690 V with a 135% overload for 3 seconds and 110% for 60 seconds means it handles the starting surge of a large pump or fan without tripping, then settles to continuous duty. The integrated RFI suppression filter for category C3 keeps conducted emissions within limits for industrial networks, and the PROFIBUS DP interface ties directly into a plant-wide automation backbone — no extra gateway needed.
Packaging dimensions are 1,200 x 1,857 x 800 mm, so plan for a pallet-sized footprint in the receiving area. RoHS compliant since March 2020; REACH Article 33 applies due to lead content above 0.1% w/w in the product.
