Frame size and mounting
The 3ABD00037856-D: Frame size R6. Wall-mounted — no floor stand needed. The IP21 / NEMA 1 enclosure keeps dust and drips out but isn't rated for washdown. Plan gland plate access accordingly; the R6 frame has generous cable entry but still needs clearance for bending radius on 124 A power cables.
Duty ratings — normal, heavy, light overload
Three duty ratings cover the application range. Heavy-duty (PhD 55 kW, IhD 96 A) for high-starting-torque or cyclic loads — crushers, extruders. Light-overload (PlD 75 kW, IlD 118 A) for variable-torque fans and centrifugal pumps where peak demand is brief. Pick the rating that matches your load profile; the drive's thermal model uses the same hardware.
