Drive module for high-power motor control
The ABB 3ABD00039381-D is an LV AC industrial single drive module rated for 630 kW normal-use output at 880 A, with heavy-duty capability at 500 kW / 697 A and light-overload at 560 kW / 857 A. It accepts 380-500 V three-phase input across 47.5-63 Hz and is enclosed to IP20 in frame size R11.
Rating selection for duty cycle
Three output ratings let you match the module to the load profile. Normal-use 880 A covers continuous constant-torque applications. Heavy-duty 697 A applies for high-starting-torque or cyclic loads where the drive must deliver peak current without tripping. Light-overload 857 A sits between — useful for pumps and fans with moderate transient demand.
Frame R11 is an open-type module (NEMA Open Type) for cabinet mounting. IP20 allows direct access to terminals inside a locked enclosure. Frequency tolerance 47.5-63 Hz handles weak mains or generator supply.
