The normal-use (light-overload) rating of 560 kW / 820 A suits variable-torque applications — pumps, fans, compressors — where peak demand stays under 110 % of rated current. Heavy-duty use at 450 kW / 625 A applies for constant-torque or high-starting-torque loads; the 820 A normal-use figure is the one to match against the motor nameplate for most process applications. Frame R11 is the mechanical envelope for this power class; verify cabinet depth and busbar spacing against the ACS880-04 installation manual.
Mounting and protection
Open-type enclosure with IP20 protection — suitable for installation inside a clean, dry cabinet. The module mounts on a backplate or DIN rail per the frame R11 footprint. All power and control terminations are accessible from the front; maintain clearance above and below for airflow as specified in the drive manual.
