Drive module for high-power motor control
It accepts 380–500 V three-phase input across 47.5–63 Hz, covering both 50 Hz and 60 Hz grids globally. The R11 frame size determines cabinet cutout and busbar layout, so verify mechanical fit before specifying.
Duty ratings and real-world motor sizing
Three overload profiles are defined. Normal use (Pn) delivers 560 kW continuous at 820 A; heavy-duty use (PhD) derates to 450 kW at 625 A for high-torque or constant-torque loads like conveyors or extruders. Light-overload use (PlD) matches normal-use power at 560 kW but with 807 A output current, a slight reduction from the full 820 A rating. For a 560 kW motor on a pump or fan, the normal-use figure is the sizing target. For a crusher or mixer, use the heavy-duty column to avoid nuisance trips.
The open-type NEMA enclosure classification reinforces this: the drive relies on the panel's enclosure for personnel protection. Plan for forced-air cooling or cabinet ventilation to manage heat dissipation at 820 A continuous output.
