Rated 28 A continuous, this is a 3-pole contactor sized for moderate motor loads — think small conveyors, fans, or pump starters up to roughly 7.5 kW at 400 V three-phase (standard IEC utilization category AC-3). The 240 V AC coil means the control circuit must supply that voltage; verify your control transformer or PLC output relay matches before wiring. A single normally-open auxiliary contact is built in — enough for a seal-in or status feedback to a PLC input, but not for multi-signal interlocking. If your circuit needs more auxiliary poles, plan for a side-mount block.
The A26 frame mounts on DIN rail or panel via screw base. Strip length of 8 mm avoids whiskers under the spring-cage or screw clamp. Keep the coil suppression diode (if used) close to the contactor — long flyback paths radiate noise into adjacent control wiring.
