What the 68 A rating means for fit
The AF65-30-22-11: 68 A is the AC-1 thermal current (resistive load). For motor starting (AC-3 duty), the contactor will have a lower rating — typically around 30-40 A for this frame size — so match it to the motor FLA, not the headline number. The 20-60 V coil gives you flexibility: it picks up reliably at 20 V and holds in through dips down to about 18 V, which helps in plants with long cable runs or shared DC supplies.
Panel integration
Snap-on DIN rail mount, standard 35 mm. The 3-pole + 2 N.O. + 2 N.C. auxiliary contact block is built in, so you don't need a separate add-on for basic feedback. Wire the coil suppression diode externally if the drive or PLC doesn't provide one — inductive kickback on a 24 VDC line will take out a digital output card otherwise.
