The ABB AF65-30-22-13 is a 3-pole contactor rated for 68 A in AC-3 duty (motor switching), with a 100-250 VAC/VDC coil. The coil accepts both AC and DC control voltage across a wide range, so a single part can be ordered for panels with mixed control supplies without specifying a separate coil variant.
Deployment and integration
Mounts on DIN rail in the control panel. The 3-pole main contacts handle the load circuit; the built-in auxiliary contacts (one N/O, one N/C per the 30-22 code) provide feedback to the PLC or status indication without an add-on block. For a panel wireman, the spring-cage terminals on the coil and aux contacts accept 0.2-2.5 mm² stranded with ferrules — strip to 8 mm.
