Same part, different passport: this is the genuine ABB unit, current lifecycle per the manufacturer, available through independent distribution channels.
6 A is the continuous rated current — it's the load it can carry indefinitely at rated ambient. Trip Curve K has a magnetic trip threshold of roughly 8–12× In, so a 6 A unit will hold a motor starting surge of 48–72 A for a few cycles before the magnetic element trips. That's tighter than Curve D (10–20× In) but looser than Curve C (5–10× In). For a 1-pole breaker, that means it's protecting a single-phase motor or a transformer primary, not a lighting circuit. The 1-pole form factor snaps onto standard DIN rail, so it occupies one module width in the panel.
Panel integration
One-pole width (roughly 17.5 mm). Wire termination is via screw terminals — typical for this class. No special cutout or gland plate needed; it fits in any standard distribution board or sub-panel. For a 6 A motor branch circuit, pair it with a contactor and overload relay downstream; the K curve gives you the coordination window.
