Panel integration and DIN-rail fit
Snap-on DIN rail mounting per EN 60715. The 3-pole body occupies three modular units (17.5 mm each) — roughly 52.5 mm of rail space. For a panel builder, the fill factor is straightforward: one S803C-C50 replaces three single-pole C50s with a shared trip bar, saving one unit of width.
At 15 kA SCCR, the S803C-C50 provides full selectivity with downstream C-curve breakers up to about 6 kA fault level — meaning only the faulted branch trips, not the main. For upstream coordination with a larger MCCB or fuse, the manufacturer's selectivity tables (available separately) show the S803C-C50 discriminates cleanly up to its rated breaking capacity. That matters for a site electrical engineer designing a distribution board where nuisance blackouts are unacceptable.
