Panel integration note
The S804C-C32 snaps onto a standard DIN rail, occupying four module widths in the enclosure. The 15 kA interrupting rating at 230 VAC means it clears faults up to that level without cascading upstream — sized for sub-distribution boards where the available fault current stays under that threshold.
Trip curve and duty
Trip Curve C means the magnetic trip fires at 5–10× rated current (160–320 A for this 32 A unit), so it handles moderate inrush from motor starters and transformer loads without nuisance tripping. The 4-pole configuration switches all three phases plus neutral — typical for three-phase panelboards where the neutral needs overcurrent protection.
DC capability
Rated 500 VDC with a 10 kA interrupting capacity, the S804C-C32 also works in DC branch circuits — battery banks, UPS outputs, or DC bus distribution — where the voltage rating and the DC-specific arc extinction matter.
