TMF trip and selectivity
The XT1HU3050AFD000XXX: The TMF trip unit provides thermal-magnetic protection: the thermal element handles overloads (adjustable 50–500 A), and the magnetic element responds to short-circuits. For a panel builder coordinating with downstream breakers, the TMF's fixed magnetic pickup (typically 10× In for this family) sets the selectivity limit. Upstream coordination requires checking the let-through energy (I²t) curves against the downstream device's withstand.
Panel integration
Mounts on a DIN rail or directly to a backplate via the four-corner fixing holes. The F F terminals accept busbar or cable connections; torque to the value stamped on the breaker (typically 2.5–3.5 Nm for the line/load lugs). Leave at least 50 mm clearance above and below for arc-chamber venting and cable bending radius.
