The three-pole, fixed-front-terminal (FF) configuration is built for UL and CSA marked panels. The LSI trip curve gives you long-time, short-time, and instantaneous protection — the short-time delay allows selectivity downstream, so a fault on a branch feeder clears before this main trips.
The FF fixed-front terminals accept standard busbar or cable connections in a switchboard or panelboard lineup. The EKIP DIP LSI trip unit is field-adjustable via DIP switches on the front face — no separate programming tool needed. For coordination studies, the short-time pickup and delay bands are set without removing the breaker from the cubicle.
