That's the job on packaging lines, label registration, or print alignment where a standard photoelectric would miss the difference. Rated for the usual 10–30 VDC supply you'd expect from a compact photoelectric; wiring is M8 4-pin connector (pre-wired 2 m cable) per the series standard.
