The Omron GRT1-CRT is a SmartSlice interface module — the backplane connection for I/O slices in a CJ, CS, or NJ series PLC rack. It supplies 24 VDC to the bus and provides the termination for the field wiring via a rectangular connector and screw terminals.
Rated for 64 positions, the GRT1-CRT interfaces with CJ, CS, and NJ series controllers. The IP20 enclosure requires a sealed control cabinet. DIN-rail mounting clips onto standard rail; the rectangular connector handles the backplane link, while screw terminals take the power and ground. GRT1-DRT is the nearest functional sibling — identical form factor, supply, and termination style. Both use the same 24 VDC rail and same rectangular connector spine. If your BOM calls for GRT1-DRT and you have access to GRT1-CRT, it will slot into the same SmartSlice rack without rewiring.
