Overview

The 140ACI03000C is an 8-channel unipolar analog input module for the Schneider Modicon Quantum automation platform, accepting 4-20 mA current or 1-5 V voltage signals with 12-bit resolution and a 5 ms update time. Each differential input includes a single-pole low-pass filter at 15 Hz, broken-wire detection on current loops, and undervoltage monitoring on voltage ranges; the module draws 2.0 W from the backplane.

Schneider has discontinued the 140ACI03000C; no official successor is listed.

Compared to the 140AVI03000, the 140ACI03000C offers a higher input impedance (250 Ω vs 20 Ω) and includes broken-wire detection on current loops — choose the 140ACI03000C when you need to monitor 4-20 mA transmitters with open-loop diagnostics.
