Each of the 8 output channels on the 140ACO13000 can be configured for 4-20 mA, 0-20 mA, or 0-25 mA current loops, with linearity specified as +/- 12 µA over the 4-20 mA range (0-4095 counts) and +/- 4 µA over the 0-20 mA range (0-20000 counts). The module's update time is 5 ms, with a settling time of 3.2 ms to +/-0.1% of final value and 1.6 ms to 5% of final value. Accuracy is rated at -0.2% of full scale. Each channel can drive a load resistance of 9.1 ohm at a rated voltage of 30 V DC, with a switching current of 0.55 A. The module requires 8 output words of addressing in the Quantum backplane. On-board diagnostics include a green LED for bus communication, a red LED for external fault, and per-channel green (channel on) and red (channel fault) LEDs. Open-circuit detection is supported on the 4-20 mA range.
