S400 MCB for panel protection
The ABB S401M-C32NP is a 1-pole SMISSLN miniature circuit breaker from the S400 family, rated 32 A with a Trip Curve C characteristic at 240 VAC. DIN rail mount, so it clips straight into the standard enclosure rail alongside other S400 units.
Curve C and 32 A — what they mean for the BOM line
At 32 A it handles a 7.5 kW motor on 400 V three-phase (line-to-line) or a 32 A resistive heater bank on 240 V single-phase. The 1-pole format protects one phase; for three-phase circuits you stack three units or specify the 3-pole variant.
