It is rated for a 127 V AC 60 Hz maintained control signal and carries a 40 A AC-7A and 15 A AC-7B operational current at 400 V AC 60 Hz, per IEC/EN 61095. The AC-7A rating covers resistive and inductive loads typical of lighting and heating; the AC-7B rating covers motor loads up to 15 A. This means the contactor is sized for a 3.5 kW motor at 400 V (roughly 7.5 A full-load) with headroom on the resistive side.
Durability and switching life
Electrical durability is rated per duty: 100,000 cycles at 40 A AC-7A, 30,000 cycles at 15 A AC-7B, and 30,000 cycles for AC-3 motor switching. Mechanical durability is 1,000,000 cycles. The switching frequency is limited to 100 operations per day, which is typical for contactors in building-services duty — not for high-speed machine cycling.
Dimensions: 85 mm high, 54 mm wide, 68.5 mm deep. The 54 mm width is 3 module pitches (9 mm each). Power circuit terminals accept 6 to 25 mm² rigid or 6 to 16 mm² flexible cable; control circuit terminals accept 1.5 to 2.5 mm². Tightening torque: 3.5 N·m for power, 0.8 N·m for control. IP20 on the body, IP40 in a modular enclosure. Tropicalisation conforms to EN 60947-4-1 and EN 61095.
