Integrated control circuit breaker for distribution and control
The Schneider Electric A9C62425 Reflex iC60N is an integrated control circuit breaker from the Acti9 range, combining overcurrent protection with remote and local switching in a single 4-pole unit rated at 25 A with a C-curve trip characteristic. The thermal-magnetic trip unit handles overload and short-circuit protection, while the control circuit accepts impulse, maintained, or very-low-voltage signals — 230 V AC, 24 V AC, 48 V AC, 24 V DC, or 48 V DC — so it works with both PLC outputs and manual pushbuttons. Breaking capacity is 20 kA Icu at 220…240 V AC and 10 kA Icu at 380…415 V AC, both per EN/IEC 60947-2, which certifies the breaker can safely interrupt fault currents up to those levels without upstream damage. The N breaking-capacity code confirms it suits standard distribution panels; the 4 protected poles cover three-phase plus neutral. IP20 rated, so it is intended for dry indoor panels only.
Control and signalling flexibility
The Reflex iC60N supports three control modes: remote control by pulse, remote control by continuous command, and a toggle ON/OFF button for local operation. Local signalling includes a green LED for ON state, red LED for fault, and flashing LEDs for overheat or trip — useful for quick panel diagnostics without a separate indicator block. Earth-leakage protection is handled by a separate add-on block, not built in, so the A9C62425 is the thermal-magnetic core only.
Durability and environmental ratings
Rated for 50,000 electrical cycles under AC-1 resistive load and 50,000 mechanical cycles — enough for frequent switching in lighting or small motor control circuits. Pollution degree 3 and tropicalisation class 2 mean it handles conductive dust and high humidity (93 % at 40 °C) typical in industrial enclosures.
