The thermal-magnetic trip unit handles both overload and short-circuit protection. Breaking capacity is 20 kA Icu at 220–240 V AC and 10 kA Icu at 380–415 V AC, per EN/IEC 60947-2. The 3-pole version here (3P) protects three phases simultaneously.
Control and signalling
This isn't just a breaker — it's a remotely controllable switch. Control voltage options include 230 V AC, 24 V AC, 48 V AC, 24 V DC, and 48 V DC, with pulse or maintained command types. That means you can wire it to a PLC output or a remote pushbutton station to cycle the load without climbing into the panel. Local signalling uses a multi-colour LED: green for ON, flashing for tripped or overheat conditions. The unit is padlockable in the OFF position, giving a positive lockout for maintenance. Contact position indicator is visible through the front bezel — no guessing whether it's open or closed.
Dimensions are 99 mm wide (11 x 9 mm pitches), 84 mm high, 77 mm deep. IP20 rated, so it's for enclosed panels only, not washdown areas. Rated for 93% relative humidity at 40 °C, with tropicalisation class 2 — handles hot, humid plant floors without internal condensation issues.
