It's part of the Acti9 range, rated at 16 A with a curve D trip characteristic and 4 protected poles. The 'integrated control' part means you can switch the load on and off remotely via a control signal — either a maintained 230 V AC signal, a pulse from an ON/OFF button, or a toggle command. It also accepts low-voltage control at 24 V AC/DC or 48 V AC/DC, which is handy if you're running it from a PLC or a separate control transformer. The magnetic trip threshold on a D-curve is typically 10 to 14 times the rated current, so it won't nuisance-trip on startup but still clears a hard fault.
Breaking capacity is 20 kA Icu at 220–240 V AC and 10 kA Icu at 380–415 V AC per EN/IEC 60947-2. Pollution degree 3 covers conductive dust and humidity. Where you'd use it and how it mounts
It takes up 13 modules of 9 mm pitch (117 mm total width), so plan your DIN rail real estate accordingly. It's fixed mounting only, no plug-in base. That's standard for panel-mounted breakers — it belongs inside an enclosure with at least an IP54 door. The Reflex iC60N is designed for distribution and control applications. Think remote lighting control in a warehouse, motorized valve control in a process line, or as a remotely resettable feeder breaker in a small automation panel. The padlockable OFF position (padlock sold separately) adds a lockout/tagout point for maintenance safety.
A note for the commissioning engineer
The local signalling on this unit is fairly comprehensive: a flashing LED indicates device ready, a steady green LED means the device is ON, a flashing LED signals overheat, a red LED indicates a fault, and a separate flashing LED shows the device has tripped. That's a lot of diagnostic info without needing to open the panel door — useful for a field service tech trying to figure out why a line stopped. Earth-leakage protection is handled by a separate block (Vigi or similar), not built in. If you need RCD functionality, you'll need to add that downstream or order a combined unit. The Reflex iC60N itself is a thermal-magnetic breaker only.
