It combines overcurrent protection with remote switching in a single 4-pole unit, rated 25 A with a B trip curve. The thermal-magnetic trip unit handles overload and short-circuit protection, while the integrated control coil allows remote ON/OFF via a maintained or pulse signal — 230 V AC, 24 V AC, 48 V AC, or 24/48 V DC control voltages are supported. This avoids a separate contactor and MCB in the same circuit, saving DIN-rail space and wiring.
Breaking capacity is 30 kA Icu at 230 V AC and 15 kA Icu at 415 V AC, both per EN/IEC 60947-2. The 15 kA at 415 V covers three-phase supplies common in industrial panels. The control coil accepts several voltages — 230 V AC, 24 V AC, 48 V AC, 24 V DC, 48 V DC — and responds to maintained, impulse, or toggle signals. That flexibility lets a panel builder wire it to a PLC digital output, a pushbutton station, or a building management system without an interposing relay. The local signalling includes a flashing LED for trip or overheat, a red fault LED, and a green ON LED — useful for quick diagnostics without opening the panel door. Electrical durability is 50,000 cycles under AC-1 (resistive) load, matching the mechanical durability of 50,000 cycles. For a combined protection-and-switching device, that cycle life is adequate for daily ON/OFF control in HVAC or lighting circuits — not for high-frequency motor starting, where a dedicated contactor would be specified.
The 4-pole body occupies 13 modules of 9 mm pitch — that is 117 mm width — plus 84 mm height and 77 mm depth. Earth-leakage protection is handled by a separate block (not integrated), so if RCD protection is needed, you add a Vigi iC60 module downstream on the same DIN rail. The breaker itself protects all 4 poles; the neutral pole is switched and protected.
