The Schneider Electric A9C70332 is an ARA iID automatic recloser auxiliary designed for use with iID 2P residual current devices. It manages automatic reclosing cycles after a fault, with four selectable programs: Program 1 (1 reclosing attempt, short cycle), Program 2 (3 attempts, short cycle), Program 3 (5 attempts, long fixed cycle), and Program 4 (5 attempts, long progressive cycle). The signalling circuit uses two volt-free OF contacts rated for 24...230 V, 0.01...1 A AC. Local signalling is via LED: flashing orange (not operational), flashing green (normal), flashing red (reclosing cycle in progress), fixed red (recloser locked). The minimum impulse duration on the control circuit is 200 ms.
Mounts on DIN rail with fixed mounting mode. Dimensions are 93 mm high, 63 mm wide, 75.5 mm deep, occupying 7 pitches of 9 mm. Rated insulation voltage is 400 V with impulse withstand voltage of 6 kV. Wire stripping lengths: 10 mm for power supply and input (bottom connection), 8 mm for output (top connection). Tightening torque: 1 N.m for power supply and input, 0.7 N.m for output. The unit is padlockable. No comb busbar or distribution block compatibility — each terminal wired individually. Tropicalisation level 2 provides moderate humidity resistance; relative humidity tolerance is 93% at 40 °C.
