It is designed for outgoing circuits in TN-S and TT earthing systems on 230 V AC, 50 Hz networks. The recloser logic handles transient earth faults: after a trip, it waits 10 seconds, then attempts a restart. If the fault persists, it stops after 3 consecutive restart attempts with a minimum 180-second interval between closings. It monitors for insulation faults between attempts and will not restart if a permanent fault is present.
The 2-pole device occupies 6 module pitches (9 mm each), so 54 mm of rail width. Neutral is on the left.
