The A9CR5263 is a Schneider Electric Acti9 REDs residual current circuit breaker (RCCB) with integrated auto-reclosing — a 2-pole recloser rated 63 A, 300 mA sensitivity, Type A earth-leakage protection, for 230 V AC 50 Hz phase-to-neutral networks (TN-S and TT earthing systems).
63 A rated current ([In]) handles the full load of a distribution outgoer — sized for a lighting or general-power submain, not a motor circuit. The 300 mA sensitivity is a fire-protection level (not personnel shock protection); it tolerates normal leakage from long cable runs or equipment filters without nuisance tripping. The auto-reclosing logic (reclose time 10 s, max 3 consecutive restarts, 180 s minimum between closings, stops on persistent insulation fault) is designed for transient earth faults — lightning, moisture, or switching surges — without sending a crew out for every trip. It monitors insulation fault presence and restarts only if the fault clears; a permanent fault locks it out.
